I’m Simone Gordon and I'm a Board Certified Hypnotherapist with a private practice in Santa Monica, California. While I work with a broad range of conditions, my specialties are hypnotherapy for the elimination of fears, phobias, and anxiety, smoking cessation, weight modification, and issues with sleeping. I'm a graduate of the venerable Hypnosis Motivation Institute and a professional member of the American Hypnosis Association. A Santa Monica native, my professional background is in communications, with an emphasis on targeted communication strategies. During my time in graduate school for clinical psychology, I became interested in hypnosis and strategic therapy. Essentially, I liked therapeutic approaches that actually helped my clients get the results they wanted! Taking an unorthodox and strategic approach to treatment, I devised solutions to my client's challenges that were rapid, innovative, and highly effective. As a survivor of multiple sclerosis, I know first hand the incredible healing powers of hypnotherapy. When I'm not seeing clients, you can find me spending time with the love of my life, my husband Razmik, relaxing at home or walking our Cane Corso Raja May in Palisades Park.
Hypnosis is a very enjoyable state of relaxation, increased focus, and heightened awareness. We naturally go into hypnosis multiple times a day- from becoming wrapped up in an interesting movie or book, to daydreaming, to the dreamlike state we enter when we're halfway between being awake and falling asleep, we go into this trance state naturally and comfortably. It's this trance state that allows us access to the subconscious mind. When we reach the subconscious, effective, meaningful, and quick change can take place, dramatically improving our lives.
I developed Brief Strategic Hypnotherapy (BSH) to help my clients reach their goals and make the changes they want in a short amount of time with lasting results. Drawing from the most effective psychotherapeutic techniques available, BHS is a rapid, brief, solution-oriented, and directive form of hypnotherapy with a maximum of 10 sessions. BHS involves setting specific goals and using hypnosis to actively reinforce those goals. In short, it's a method that WORKS.

Zoom and FaceTime hypnotherapy sessions are $250 per session.
House calls are available for those in the greater Los Angeles area and are $350 per session.
Handwriting analysis reports include an in-depth conscious and unconscious personality assessment and are $300.
